    • Couldn’t get in to do survey. Don’t like you new menu, first took off the yogurt, now the turkey sausage and egg in the basket. Nothing special about this place anymore, same as every other breakfast place. All the comments saying the survey doesn’t work, I guess no one is winning the gift card!

          Today was my worst experience in 20 years. And nothing to do with the waitstaff.
          The operation was poorly managed.
          Unprepared for a dinner rush. Person handing out table with menu should be giving out the Silverware so when the food is delivered we wouldn’t have to wait for the silverware to be handed out.
          Every table same issue, had food ( after a 30+ minute wait) but nothing to eat it with but our hands and I did have shrimp, but the fried apples??? Ya, fork please.
          The waitstaff has enough to do, for them to spend 5 minutes to hand each customer silverware. (while interrupting there orders, drinks, and refills, delivery of food, check on’s, and payments……. Is too time consuming. Especially when the host has the knowledge of how many guests, where they are seated, and walks them to their table. To hand them a menu and a basket of napkins with Utensils would be so much more efficient.
          And I wouldn’t have had to get up from my seat and walk around looking for someone to provide a fork and knife for at least my wife who needed to cut her pork chop.

      I couldn’t get in to do the survey. This was my FIRST very disappointing dining experience at a Cracker Barrel. First of all I was totally disappointed that the Eggs in a Basket is no longer on the menu. Then the trouble began!!!! I had to send the bacon back to be cooked as was ordered. I also informed the waitress that I had no silverware. She took the bacon back to be cooked, and I sat there waiting for silverware as my food got colder and colder. A few minutes later she returned with the bacon, but no silverware. I informed her AGAIN that I had no silverware. She said she would be right back. Food is getting colder while I wait several more minutes for silverware. She also said she would bring coffee when she returned with the silverware. I finally got the silverware, but no coffee. I was almost done with my extremely cold meal before she returned with the coffee.

A big smile ,lots of excellent manners and made sure everything was up to par. I have not had a waiter like him in years. Also Ruben cashier 1980320 awesome person ,big smile, very attentive and was very aware that I was waiting for my turn for a while, me only one person. I purchased a peacock feather wreath that I fall in love with it because of him. Great manners, excellent quality service. 2 gold assets for the company and the store.   4. I went to Cracker Barrel in Vicksburg, MS. When I arrived, there was no line waiting to get in. I was told my wait would be 20 minutes. I got in at about 15 minutes, but didn’t get a waitress until 15 minutes later. I placed my order when she arrived to take my drink order. My drink of choice was half and half tea with lemon. 10 minutes later, she (Teyanna) brought my tea with no lemon. 10 minutes later, my meal arrived with the lemon, but no silverware. 5 minutes later she brought silverware, and asked if I wanted rolls or cornbread. 5 minutes later she brought rolls, and I told her I needed napkins, and a to go plate (since I was through with the meal). She apparently is new on the job, because she was not mindful of much. My lunch lasted until well after 2:00 PM. I tried to fill out the survey on line, and couldn’t get it to respond. My dining experience was terrible today.

  6. Loved the food at Cracker Barrel. 12/31/2021. Albany, Georgia. This last visit disappointed our entire family. The scene that took place in the dining room with waitress and hostess. We were not told that the hash brown casserole wasn’t available. This is my son’s favorite. The replacement for this was dice potatoes that were cold. He ordered broccoli in its place. The waitress never came back to serve us. When I went to pay my bill. There was a small credit from a gift card. They would not take care of it. The cashier who processed it was no longer there. And the amount of time since it took place. Gift cards do not expire. Truly sad

  8. I was very disappointed to find out that if I ordered two (2) pancakes I paid for three (3). The waitress could have told me ahead of time or it could be explained in the menu beforehand. It wasn’t till I got to the register that I was told about 1-pancake is $5. 2 would be $10. 3 is a bargain at $8.69.   9. I went to a cracker barrel on tunnel road with some friends i ordered the grilled chicken fingers omg best ones ive ever had!!!! Then next day yesterday i went to the cracker barrel store number cb0141 and ordered more grilled chicken to go im Hooked for sure. The to go item containers are wonderful they are made extremely well and i dont have to worry about them opening up and my food falling out. Everything about Cracker Barrel i like including the Owl Fountain i picked up. Thanks bunches for such wonderful service and food!

  10. Had lunch at Cracker Barrel today and was very disappointed with the roast beef I had. The picture shows two pieces and I got one (3×4 inch piece and two (1×2 inch pieces) under it. It was also very fatty and grisly. The broccoli was very under cooked, some pieces raw. The mashed potatoes as always were perfect! Our server – Ignacio O was polite and attentive.   11. Tried 4 times to do the survey. Couldn’t get in. I was at Cracker Barrell CB0229 in Shreveport, Louisiana. My experience was that I ordered one egg, over medium, 1 piece of sausage and 1 biscuit. What I got was two of everything. Server said it was a mistake in the kitchen. However, I paid for that mistake. One of my biscuits was like a brick. The other was a little dried out but edible. My server was attentive so I was happy with that.
    My normal experience with Cracker Barrells all across the country has been great food and good service. I was disappointed but aware they were short handed as are many restaurants. I will be so glad when our country returns to its happy, normal self, people go back to work and quit living a life full of fear and anger. It is so sad to see what our nation has become in the last 13 months. I guess things will improve in 2024. I pray that is the case. It can’t get worse than it is now. 9-0229-2903-26241

  13. I could not get in to take the survey. My access code is 9-0306-0601-75018. We arrived at 3:45 pm on 1-14-2022. We had to wait to be seated because no one was there to greet us. The food was great, the server, Quinn Y, was excellent. It was 7 degrees out side and the huge fireplace was not lite. That was disappointing. The table we sat at was just inside the entrance to the dinning room on the left hand side. There were wooden slates that separated the dinning area for store. It was full of dust. Not acceptable for people with medical issues. We read that Cracker Barrel had a new and improved menu. This was not so. Also only 2 dessert items. We enjoyed our meal, but I was disappointed with the rest.

    We were at CB 0172 in Baytown TX. Lee, our waitress was really great. She has waited on us before and works very hard to make customers comfortable and get their food to them as quickly as possible. Had breakfast and it was a nice hot meal to start our day. We stop there when we travel to Louisiana, about once a month. Love their chicken and dumplings also. My husband likes the Mamma’ Pancake Breakfast. I like browsing in their gift shop also. They have some really beautiful things.

  17. Was unable to complete survey. First time in my life that I was not satisfied with my dining experience. We were at the location in Cookeville, TN on Thursday, Jan 27, 2022. Our server was Lois P. Found her to be quite short when we asked questions, didn’t want to clarify the question at all. Brought us silverware and napkins loose and just plopped them on the table. When the food was delivered, it wasn’t hot. Of course, she was no where to be found. Never offered to refill our beverages, never asked how the meal was or if we needed anything additional. When she brought the check, she said that she would leave it because she was certain that none of us were interested in dessert. We come to this location often and have never had this type of service from anyone else. There are many more restaurants in that area, maybe we will try one of them the next time instead of returning to this location.

  18. My husband and I went to Cracker Barrel this morning for breakfast! Was very disappointed in our meal and service my husband order the double meat along with sausage gravy and biscuits the waitress brought out the gravy and biscuits the gravy was like soup!! Then my hash brown casserole was hot and ice cold ? Ugh!! So we said something to the waitress and she said she notice the gravy was runny but still presented it to my husband while she was going back to the kitchen she was going to inquire about it meanwhile I ask for the manager he came out and apologized gave me hot hash brown casserole in a small serving dish and still nothing about the sausage gravy finally a the waitress said they were making a new batch when we were done with our breakfast the sausage gravy still was not ready the waitress apologized again and took it off the bill and the excuse is they have new employees, well I am tired of hearing this excuse wether your new or not representation of your restaurants and food are about you! I even ask the manager would you want to be served with this and expect to eat it answer no! Your quality and service really stink this time a new low and we been coming to this place for years even you cashier had an attitude when cashing out! I work in service and I never seen so many employees who just don’t care about their quality of service even if your short handed there is no excuse

  21. Had a birthday dinner for my son tonight at Cracker Barrel CB0763 in Gilbert, AZ. The whole experience was terrible. We waited 20 min to get in after going online and getting on the wait list. Once seated it was 20 minutes before a server came and asked for the drink order. We managed to order at this time and then waited 30 minutes for the drinks a dinner salad. The extra ranch was not brought so i had to wait another 15 minutes to get that. We sat there for over 90 minutes before we got our dinner while people arrived much later than us were served within 15 minutes after seating. Then at the end the server said they were bringing something for my son’s birthday and the dessert never came. The thing that gets me is that the server blamed the fish fry for the delay for all of food and when the food arrived at our table it was all cold, and you could tell it had been sitting for a long time. My son had fries that soaked up all of the green bean juice since it sat for so long in the kitchen. The server never once apologized or acknowledged the lack of service.

  22. On Friday March 4th, 2022, my wife and I went to Cracker Barrel for the Friday Night Fish Fry. The meal was great, the service was adequate, and then we tried to cash out. I had a $25 gift card and told the cashier beforehand that I had it and was going to use it. She totaled our meal and addition purchase and told me to run the gift card. The screen showed the total purchase and asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I said yes and entered an amount that brought the grand total to an even dollar amount. This of course left a balance and I was told to run the debit card, The original screen reappeared asking again if I wanted to leave a tip. I asked the cashier about it and she told me that if I wanted to leave a tip I needed to process it here, so I did so. When she totaled out the transaction the tip was charged twice! I immediately pointed it out and her attitude was that I’d entered it, it was my fault! With her hands on her hips and swinging her hair she asked the other cashiers present if they knew how to correct it. They did not so they called Frank, the manager. He did not know what to do either and made the situation worse by canceling out the whole transaction which invalidated my gift. He called corporate and they were unable to help him. He finally entered an arbitrary amount close to what I should have been charged and I paid it. This has taken over a half an hour. When I looked at my bank account today I found they had charged the whole amount, apparently hoping I wouldn’t catch it. Not cool Cracker Barrel!

    I am not from this location or state, but am in St. Clairsville, OH for a short medical assignment. I had been craving fried chicken and had never had a problem with CB’s before tonight. For reference, I did take a pic. The wait staff asked if I’d like to speak to management, which i did not want to cause problems, so I did not. However, there needs to be changes to it. It is stellar back in KS. This night it was dry, hard and overcooked. I at half of the wing, and took the rest for the dogs. I did not even eat my sides. It was just not an experience I enjoy as usual.

    At the register the clerk asked for manager. She simply stated, “It shouldn’t be that way and offered more food”. Which is denied. I was wanting friend chicken. Good fried chicken. I’ll never go back. So, if nothing else comes of this, waitstaff needs to, at minimum, be observant of what the quality of food is being delivered. I even opened the container for the clerk and management when paying out. So they were witness to it as well.

    I won’t be back. But please, make staff aware of what is being served. Just because it leaves the kitchen, does not mean it is worthy to eat.

  26. I could not get into the survey? My code is 9-0500-0003-04486. My server was Charlotte G. You can immediately know that she had experience with many different types of people and handles them well with a smile on her face! There was also a very old man seated across from us who probably did not have his hearing aid on or the battery was dead. She got real close to him and assisted him to get through the menu. It probably took here three times the normal in taking an order but she treated him nicely and he was very happy to see the drink and food when it arrived. Charlotte G. definitely needs some recognition by management and I hope we get her to serve us during our next visit.

We are frequent customers at the Conway Ar Cracker Barrel and have always had excellent service, we have one waitress we always request, Anna B who is awesome and should be in charge of all training in my book for waitresses.   29. Went to dinner on March 23,2022 at CB 0150 There was no one to seat customers for 15 minutes and there was a line. Finally got a table and server was very nice. We ordered our food and waited and waited , they were busy with large tables of customers so we knew it would take awhile. When they finally brought our food the carrots were cold, the hashbrown casserole was luke warm and meatloaf barely warm. Sent food back to heat up only took another 10 minutes. Hashbrown casserole tasted like mushy rice, meatloaf was not good I get better food at Schnucks Deli. We got there at 5:40 and did not get out until 7:24. Wont be back for a long time maybe will try again in a few years. pitiful. Bought some candy for my husband and prices were outrageous!!!

  31. Wife and I and grandchildren visited the Plainfield In location and experienced these unfortunate conditions .
    1. Our seating location was extremely tight as in cramped .
    2. Our server who said her name was Jessica failed to the point that we were truly upset .
    3. She failed to bring the correct biscuits / corn muffin order .
    4. totally forgot my wife’s fried apples .
    5. I had to stop another server just to get a refill of iced tea,
    6. Iced tea had no Ice in glass, ICED TEA ?
    WE are frequent Cracker barrel customers as in we stop at your locations when we travel .

  32. we visited Shiloh, IL CB on March 26, 2022. Table 223, Terminal CB056901 4 guests 2:18pm Code 9-0569-6901-10213. Upon arrival, I stood at the host station for several minutes before being acknowledged…despite an employee being less than 3 feet from me. It was probably 6-7 minutes before any employee acknowledged me standing there. When hostess did show up, her computer was not working…she didn’t say anything to me until someone came up and helped her jiggle the cord to get the computer up. When we were escorted to our table, it was very dirty. The hostess somewhat cleaned it off, her rag almost touched the table. When we did sit down, the table had alot of salt on it…dirty table. I took my grandson to the men’s room…walked in and walked right back out. Men’s room was filthy, one urinal was out of order, floor was wet with something and trash had not been emptied in a long time. Always makes me wonder…if areas customers can see look like that, what do the areas that customers can’t see look like. This is the first time I’ve ever done this survey or sent this type of reply. But this was a dirty CB.

I’m sorry to have to report that I became very disappointed when my wife and I came for supper this is at the Milford Cracker Barrel in Milford Ohio I don’t know whose idea it was when what a mistake and what a sad thing to have a restaurant if your standard family quality home Cookeville Neal and feeling of being at home being part of a bigger family only to find you serving alcohol now not just beer and wine but alcohol whiskey margaritas jeez-o-pete as a pastor of a church it makes me sad as a patron it makes me sadder I don’t know what you plan to gain by such a thing are sales down that bad what are about to get worse I know for a fact that I bring 30 people into that restaurant every Sunday afternoon after church I also know 20 people that come in there on Saturday morning for their breakfast and I know five families they come for supper on Friday night now that’s just from my church believe me when I start having the other churches understand the troubles here with alcohol and they know it so why don’t you know it I’m just sad two pieces that you had to go liquor It’s just sad what happened to your standards? What the heck happened?

    Our waitress was pleasant. We ordered 2 waters and coffee to start off. She brought 1 water and decaf coffee. No big deal.
    Asked her to bring the pot of regular coffee when she came around for refills. Then we tried to place the meal order. My husband wanted to get the steak breakfast. We were told they didn’t have steak or chicken fried steak. He decided on Grandma’s sampler. It came with a sausage patty, ham and only 1/2 of a piece of bacon. The eggs were fine. The pancakes were cold. I ordered the Momma’s Breakfast pancakes. The pancakes were cold. If the waitress had come by the table to check and see how the food was, we would have told her about the cold pancakes and missing 1/2 piece of bacon.

    It seemed that it was taking a long time for the order to come out. After about 30 minutes, the waitress told us that our order would be out soon and that the delay was due to filling a bunch of online orders.

    We have been to many Cracker Barrels all over the U.S. and never experienced anything like this. Clearly it wasn’t up to your usual standards.

  37. Went online to take your survey . Could not get in. I guess they have had enough negative comments. On April 2 2022, I visited the
    Mechanicsburg Pa. CB . We arrived around 2 P.M. just as the luncheon rush was ending. we were quickly seated . Upon ordering we found
    that our favorite grilled fish had been removed from the menu, we also found that the garden side salad now comes with an additional charge.
    Our order was taken quickly and our drinks were served quickly. After a fifteen minute wait we were served biscuits . although our
    coffee cups were empty and we moved them to the end of the table so they could easily be refilled , the waitress never came back to refill them.
    When our meals came after fifteen additional minutes of waiting and we had to ask for a refill and we were never asked if we wanted dessert.
    Our meals were good, although, based on the amount of fries that came with the meal, there most be a potato shortage, sad! With the food bill tax tip and gift shop I spent over one hundred dollars and over one hour for lunch for three and did even get dessert. With as many good places to eat that give excellent service. I am sure I will not be back to C.B. any time some or ever.

  38. i could not take survey it would not take the access code. Went to Grandville, MI Cracker Barrel tonight for the fish fry. Everything was good except the mashed potatoes. I asked if they changed the recipe it tasted like there were was sour cream in the potatoes they were very sour. I could not eat them. I have loved the potatoes at CB for years and never had a problem until now.

  39. CB store in Lubbock, TX. Very cramped seating. The waitress outshines the restaurant unfortunately. I had trout that was okay although it tasted a bit old. We paid extra for a baked potato that must have been left over and re-warmed. It was hard and the butter they put in in was cold. The coleslaw was good. Hubby had hamburger patty but left off the gravy which made for a dry patty. The okra was slightly warm; most of the skimpy serving slipped off the plate when the waitress set the plate down. She did bring him extra okra. So, CB, this is the second time in a 2-month period we have eaten here and when I ask for a straw for iced tea I was told, “We are out of straws”. I am thinking that you have no plans to have them. A straw is helpful to keep the chunks of ice from landing in your face when the tea gets low in the glass. So, we checked it off as “another bad meal; take CB off our list”.

  40. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable of what is being served very professional and kind. So when I specifically asked was the Grilled Chicken Salad made with just iceberg lettuce she assured me it was a spring mix and it says it on the menu well somebody in the kitchen apparently didn’t know or there wasn’t any. I assure you the only lettuce on there was hunks of iceberg lettuce. I ask because I have bad digestive problems and iceberg lettuce doesn’t like me

  43. What a rotten experience. I thought we could count on CB to give us a good meal while traveling. Food was cold, tasteless, and out of a lot of items (at least what we wanted). Around 8 noticed them turning away folks. Our server was pleasant and did try to make the best of a bad experience. This is not normal for me to write and complain. But the more I thought about it the more disgruntled I got. Maybe this will help some future guests, providing you take this issue seriously and do some active coaching. If you hours are till x, then you should be willing to accommodate those that stop. I understand you have to have a time to quit taking customers, do you even have a policy and has that been conveyed to that restaurant? We will never again try and eat at the Walterboro SC site.

  44. Our family does not go out to eat but 1-2 times a year, so when we do, in the face of a worker shortage and having friends who work in the food service industry, we are hyper aware of the challenges every restaurant faces in keeping their doors open and their staff from being worked to death.
    Due to our own work schedules, we all managed to have a Tuesday night off and ventured down to the Wrentham MA location (store 497).
    The staff in the store were amazingly pleasant, smiling, and engaging. Our waitress, Samantha was the sweetest ever. She checked back with us to see if all was well. My husband’s steak arrived rarer than he likes (he likes his steaks cooked till they reach the stage of shoe leather which I feel sorry for anyone in the kitchen trying to “meat” the challenge of keeping said steak tender and cooked to death). The offer right there was to comp the steak, before it even came back adjusted to hubby’s taste, but we declined. The kitchen did return the steak with the balance of tender and cooked, but not burnt on the outside. Cheers to the chef!!! He was amazing and we were told he was the only one on the grill that night. All of the food was great. My son, who is an avid steak lover (medium rare) complimented the tenderness of the meat and said that it was one of the best steaks he has had in a long time (this in the face of pricer restaurants who can’t beat a Cracker Barrel steak).
    The cheesy squash was very good. The country fried steaks with saw mill gravy really gave a nice touch of the South without having to go past the Mason/Dixon line. We had visited Cracker Barrel locations (pre pandemic) in Georgia, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. All were great.

  45. When we arrived at the Watertown, NY location at 3:30pm and were seated immediately. The restaurant had about 25 people. We waited about 5 minutes for our server to arrive. We don’t drink and I moved the drink menu to the other side of the table near the condiments. “Liz reached across in front of me, put the drink menu right in front of me and asked if she could start us with some mimosas or other drinks? “She talked very fast and seemed to ramble on and I said “no, just water and ice”. When we were ordering we asked for thousand island dressing for our salad and we were told they don’t carry thousand island anymore. Liz brought our meal about 15 minutes later and we asked for vinegar. Liz stopped to talk to her other table for about 10 minutes as they were leaving and never brought the vinegar. She never came back to check to see if we were satisfied with our meal or if we needed anything else. She came to our table at the end of our meal to put out the sugar/sweetener tray My wife reminded her that she never brought the vinegar and Liz said they were really busy (she had 2 tables to service)?? I asked for a water refill and she said “sure” but continued to put the sugar trays on all the other tables and then disappeared. We waited for 10 min. and then my wife went to the gift shop. I waited another 5 minutes and then Liz appeared from the kitchen, looked at me sheepishly and then ducked back in the kitchen. Then a young man came out with the water and asked if I wanted a refill and I said no. I asked him to get Liz to bring me my bill and 1 minute later he appeared with my bill and apologized for the wait. We had not been to a Cracker Barrel in 2 1/2 years due to covid. The last time we were at this location the meal was terrible and the manager made all sorts of excuses and did nothing to rectify the issues. We thought we would give the restaurant another chance. The menu items had changed negatively as the sirloin steak always came with a house salad and now it was a $1.99 addon and they only had four choices for dressing. I was extremely disappointed with the experience!!

  46. Three different locations and the same problem in all. Try paying on the website and it will tell you this store location does not exsist. At the Leeds location the manager said he would contact the IT department. If he did he wasted his time they didn’t care and did nothing about it. This has been going on for a good month. CB listens but they don’t react. 👎🏼

  47. Went to my local CrakerBarrel on mother’s day so I expected a wait. 20 minutes no problem. After being called we followed the hostess to our table what a shock. The floor looked like it had not been cleaned all day. We eat at this location on a regular bases and have never seen it look like this. We were seated and Nick came and took our drink orders. Came back with the drinks and took our food order. 15 minutes maybe 20 our food arrived. We tried to stop the waiter but he was gone. 5 minutes later got his attention and ask for silverware so we could eat. Notice corn in my mash potatoes, no one at the table had corn. The chicken homestlyle looked like it was put through a grinder. ( My family eats this regularly so I know what it should look like). My wife asked for some extra biscuits, they were so undercooked they were dough. Now, it’s time to leave and pay the bill. The clerk at the register said the equipment errored out and could not give me a recite. We eat at this location at least 2 to 4 times a month and we have neve seen piles of dishes left on the table for long periods of time. This store has problems and it’s going down hill fast. Two of my friends will not longer eat there. We are the locals that keep this restaurant open in the winter but , if this is your new standard. Close IT.

  49. Same problem as most of these other people, can’t get into the survey. In my opinion Cracker Barrel’s quality of food has gone down. I ordered a hamburger steak medium well and it came out very well with some black in some areas, I have tasted better pinto bean out of a can, they were very dry. We had to wait to be seated although there were very few people in the dining area since we got there at 11:5 am. The waitress done a great job looking after us.   55. I am a regular customer at our local CB.It depends on who is cooking what kind of food you get. Our local manager does not supervise as well as they should or this would not happen. To do a good service you have to be consistent. our local CB is NOT consistent

  56. In Huntsville, AL, couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone. The app wouldn’t allow all vegetable choices. So, I went to the restaurant to place to go order. When I got home part of the order was missing. The restaurant was not busy on a late Sunday evening. Very disappointing!

To my suprise my wifes meal was cold although mine was ok just a little over done. I have always had good food and service at all your restaurants. After this one it will be a while before we return but we will just not in the near future.

    Waitress took our order : Husband Steve ordered Meatloaf, GreenBeans and double order of Hashbrown Casserole. I ordered RoastBeef, Green Beans and order of Hashbrown Casserole. When waitress brought our food, she announced they had run out of Hashbrown Casserole. Steve said he would take a loaded Baked Potatoe. I said baked Potatoe, with butter and sour cream. My Roast Beef was gristly. We had basically finished food before potatoes came. She brought me a Baked Sweet Potatoe (which I did not order). She took that back and brought me Baked Potatoe after it was time to be finished. We eat at Cracker Barrel regularly. The worst meal and worst service we have ever had .”

  66. Cracker Barrel was, for years, a family friendly restaurant. A restaurant we could take kids, and grandkids, to and escape the “alcohol” surroundings of most other restaurants. What a shame you decided your restaurant needed to be like the others, so much for a family friendly place to go. Wish you would reconsider what you are now serving and return to being a place we enjoy taking our family to.

    Bread was cold; wouldn’t even melt the butter. Food was cold when it came out. Server never checked to see if food was ok. Server never refilled water. Server never brought the bill. Terrible service and food. The restaurant was not busy. When I was younger I waited tables and made good tips. I left the server a penny which says I thought about a tip and this is what you are worth. Probably won’t go back to Cracker Barrel until food and service improves. Thanks!

Cracker Barrel use to be good, but not the last 3 visits for me.First of all if the parking lot is full don’t even bother going in they are to busy and the wait time for your food is ridiculous. So today 11:45 am. 01/14/23 stupid me and my wife decided to go in. We waited for are food 40 min, pancakes were barely warm and they were over cooked and you had to cut them with a knife. We ordered the grandma sampler, my wife ordered first eggs scrambled all bacon and hash brown casserole, I ordered the same except eggs over easy. When the food finally came like I said the pancakes were Luke warm and over down, my wife’s hash brown casserole wasn’t casserole it was hash with onion! The check out the gift card didn’t take and didn’t notice till I already swiped my bank card for the balance,I just left and said forget about it. I don’t know if I’ll even go back, 2 of the last 3 visits weren’t good!

We asked to be moved to a larger table, the waitress said that was fine but she couldn’t touch the food since she just served it, therefore we moved everything ourselves.

  72. Not a comment, but an observation from the previous comments offered where I am very satisfied with Cracker Barrel. I have found all the Cracker Barrel’s, especially the Princeton WV store/eatery to be friendly, professional and clean with people who seem to really enjoy their work. We stopped In Christiansburg VA last night in our way back to home in Princeton, WV and we’re treated with the same service we receive at our home CB. We have also eaten at at least 5 other CB in other cities and States where we have always been satisfied or impressed. I find that when business establishments offer feedback on their website the responders are usually disgruntled unsatisfied customers who wish to make their grievances known and I understand a company wanting to know this for their knowledge for improvement. Kudos to Cracker Barrel for “taking it on the chin”. Please know that from my family’s experience we love CB and will be always willing to sit down at your table and eat your meals.
    Long comment, but I’d like to join the others who either compliment or complain because either one helps the Cracker Barrel brand. Thanks!
